About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists and CNC Operators to join an established precision engineering business specialising in CNC machining and manufacturing.

The business works across a range of industries including aviation and aerospace, automotive, defence, construction and communications, producing precision components from materials including aluminium, brass, plastics and other metals.

About the Role

Depending on your experience, you may be involved in:
CNC turning and milling
CNC machine setup and operation
CNC programming and editing
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Producing precision-machined components
Measuring and inspecting finished components
Using precision measuring equipment
Loading and unloading materials
Basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
Working to production schedules and quality requirements
Maintaining high standards of accuracy and workmanship
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Experience with grinding, drilling and other machining processes will also be highly regarded.

About You





We are looking for candidates with:
Previous experience in CNC machining or CNC operation
Experience with CNC turning, CNC milling, or both
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Solid attention to detail and accuracy
Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
Understanding of machining processes and tolerances
Strong commitment to quality and safety
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CNC programming experience will be highly regarded. Relevant trade qualifications and machining experience are also desirable.
