MAYA Mexican is looking for enthusiastic and experienced Bartenders to join our team in Fortitude Valley.

MAYA is a vibrant Mexican restaurant and bar known for outstanding food, creative cocktails, agave spirits and a fun, energetic atmosphere. We’re looking for bartenders who love hospitality, know their way around a bar and enjoy creating a great experience for every guest.

About the Role

As a Bartender at MAYA, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality drinks and exceptional service while working as part of a fast-paced, qualified team.

Your responsibilities will include
Preparing cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
Providing friendly, knowledgeable and engaging service
Taking orders and processing transactions accurately
Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
Following recipes, presentation standards and responsible service practices
Assisting with opening and closing procedures
Supporting the wider FOH team during busy service




Creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for our guests

What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous bartending experience in a busy restaurant or bar
Has a genuine passion for hospitality
Is confident preparing cocktails and working in a high-volume environment
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well under pressure and as part of a team
Has a positive, energetic and professional attitude
Is reliable, punctual and well presented
Has a current RSA
Is available to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Pay: $34.00 – $39.00 per hour
