Club Southside is a vibrant and welcoming venue known for outstanding food, friendly service, and a strong team culture. We operate both a busy café and restaurant and we are looking for a passionate chef to join our kitchen team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a chef who is flexible and enjoys working across both our café and restaurant operations. With no two days being the same, you'll play an significant role in supporting service, food preparation, and maintaining high kitchen standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Food preparation and cooking
Supporting service in both the café and restaurant as required
Preparing and presenting quality meals consistently
Assisting with stock control, rotation, and ordering
Monitoring portion control and minimising waste
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
Following food safety and workplace health & safety procedures
Working collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods

ABOUT YOU
Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or similar)




Strong understanding of food safety and workplace health & safety practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, positive, and motivated attitude
Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings

SHIFTS & AVAILABILITY
Morning, day, evening, and late-night shifts
Weekend availability essential
