NES Fircroft is partnering with a global leader in industrial automation and instrumentation solutions to recruit a Sales Support Specialist for their Brisbane-based team on an initial 6-month hourly rate contract, with a robust view to permanent employment. This is an internal sales support role working closely with a small, high-performing team, including two external Sales Engineers, supporting customers across mining, water, wastewater, and industrial sectors.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Brisbane Sales Manager, you will:
Act as the primary internal sales support for the external Sales Engineers
Manage inbound customer enquiries and provide technical support
Prepare and issue quotations, follow up with clients, and process orders
Assist with project-related sales and gradually become involved in tender requests




Help streamline day-to-day sales administration and operations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Robust background in instrumentation and automation applications
Experience handling technical customer enquiries and understanding client requirements
Ability to prepare quotes, manage orders, and follow up effectively
A proactive, self-driven approach with solid organisational skills
Experience from automation/controls companies such as Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, Emerson or similar (highly regarded)
Industry exposure to mining, energy, water or industrial environments (preferred)

Candidates must have valid Australian working rights.
