We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Educator to join our team. This role will involve supporting educators across all rooms and covering staff breaks, while helping to provide a protected, nurturing and engaging environment for children from birth to school age.

The successful applicant will have experience working with children aged 0–school age, be confident adapting to different age groups and environments, and demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

Key responsibilities
Cover staff breaks across all rooms as required
Support educators with the daily care, supervision and education of children
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Assist with routines including meals, sleep, nappy changing, toileting and transitions
Help implement engaging play-based learning experiences
Maintain a protected,



clean and welcoming workplace
Follow all centre policies, procedures and relevant health and safety requirements
Work collaboratively as part of a qualified and supportive team

The successful applicant will have
Experience working with children from birth to school age
A warm, caring and positive approach
The ability to confidently work across different rooms and age groups
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility, reliability and a willingness to support the team where needed
An understanding of children’s wellbeing, learning and development
A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for NSW
A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently enrolled and studying towards this qualification
