Overview

Seeking a Senior Associate to join the Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) practice in Brisbane. Full‑time and permanent. The role involves working with partners Shae McCartney, Christy Miller and Hilary Searing on a range of workplace matters, including industrial strategy and disputes, project management, compliance, restructuring, underpayments and litigation across courts and tribunals.

Responsibilities
Advise clients on workplace relations, industrial relations, employment, occupational health and safety, and anti‑discrimination matters.
Draft transparent, concise, commercial advice and documents.
Assist in dispute resolution, project management and compliance activities.
Mentor and coach junior team members.

Qualifications




Proven experience as a Senior Associate working on a range of employment and industrial relations matters.
Desirable: safety experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
High initiative, organisational ability, and a robust client and commercial focus.
Proactive attitude toward personal development and ability to expand skills and knowledge.
Self‑starter capable of working autonomously and maintaining attention to detail.
