We’re looking for a passionate, driven and committed Chef to join our team and be part of the next chapter at tHotel Jesmond.

The Role

Working alongside our Head Chef, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the day-to-day kitchen operations
Setting up your section and maintaining prepPreparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
Working efficiently through busy services
Multitasking and prioritising tasks
Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards
Stock rotation and checking food quality
General kitchen preparation and cleaning
Working independently while contributing positively to the team

What We’re Looking For




Minimum 1 year’s experience working as a Cook or Chef
Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen
Ability to work confidently alongside a Head Chef
Strong cooking, organisation and time-management skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Valuable communication skills
Reliable and well organised
Availability to work nights and weekends is essential
