Metropolitan Memorial Parks is seeking a dedicated and experienced team member to join our Burials Team at our Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park located at Matraville (near Botany).

About the Role:

The primary responsibility of this role is to uphold the highest standards in burial services, ensuring exceptional service and professionalism for our families. You'll collaborate with the grounds maintenance team to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake burial requirements, including digging, site prep, and final presentation
Assist in funeral services as needed




Identify cemetery sections and grave locations
Contribute to grounds maintenance
Communicate effectively with Funeral Directors, families and the public
Prioritise health and safety

What we are looking for:

We're looking for a well-presented, proactive team player who can complete tasks within set timeframes. You'll thrive in outdoor work settings and have:
Industry experience is an advantage, but not required (training provided)
Current NSW unrestricted driver's license
White card (or willingness to obtain)
Desire to work in a respectful, customer-focused setting
Truck license (LR, MR, or HR), excavator, and backhoe experience are a plus
