Our client, a well established manufacturing business in Melbourne's North West, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Description
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Manage month-end and year-end processes
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting across the business
Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight and analysis
Assist with the implementation of process, systems and reporting improvements
Liaise with external auditors and manage audit requirements




Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:
CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards completion
3+ years' experience in a similar Financial Accountant role
Manufacturing, automotive or FMCG industry experience (highly regarded)
Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar is advantageous)
A proactive, hands on approach with strong attention to detail
Confident stakeholder communication skills
