Key Responsibilities

Assist tradespeople and supervisors with daily roofing tasks.

Maintain clean, organised and safe work sites at the end of each day and project.

Ensure company vehicles, factory and warehouse are kept clean and well maintained.

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company standards.

Typical Duties

You will assist with:

Preparing ladders, roof elevators and equipment for protected access.

Installing roof underlays and sarking over roof structures.

Measuring, spacing and fixing timber battens to roof rafters.

Laying concrete and terracotta roof tiles.

Measuring and cutting lead flashings to fit around chimneys, vents and other roof penetrations.

Installing roof vents, skylights and other roof penetrations.

Performing roof and gutter cleaning.

Carrying out roof maintenance and repairs.





Assessing work quality and complying with relevant Australian Standards and local authority requirements.

Current driver’s licence (or working towards obtaining one) is desirable.

Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain) is desirable.

Training & Qualifications

Successful applicants will work towards a nationally recognised qualification, including:

Certificate III in Roof Tiling.

Certificate III in General Construction (Roof Tiling).
