We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Australian manufacturer seeking an experienced Production Planner to play a key role in coordinating production schedules, materials and workflow.

/n

This is more than just a scheduling position. You'll work closely with production, purchasing and operations to ensure customer orders are delivered efficiently while supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

/n

About the Role

/n

Reporting into the Operations team, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to maximise efficiency, meet customer deadlines and support day-to-day manufacturing operations.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n
Develop and maintain production schedules

/n
Coordinate workflow across manufacturing operations

/n
Monitor production capacity and resource availability

/n
Liaise with purchasing to ensure materials are available when required

/n
Work closely with production supervisors to achieve on-time delivery

/n




Monitor work orders and adjust schedules as priorities change

/n
Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements

/n
Maintain accurate production planning data and reporting

/n/n

About You

/n

You'll be an organised and forward-thinking planner who thrives in a quick-paced manufacturing workplace.

You'll ideally bring:

/n

Experience in Production Planning, Production Scheduling or Manufacturing Coordination

/n
Experience working within a manufacturing environment

/n
Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills

/n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

/n
Experience using ERP/MRP systems

/n
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

/n
The ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail

/n/n
