About the Role:

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Yard & General Maintenance Technician to join our Darwin branch.

If you enjoy practical work, fixing things, and a variety of day-to-day tasks, this role is for you.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll be hands-on in keeping our fleet of modular buildings well-maintained, hire-ready, and returned in top condition.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Operating forklifts to move and position buildings and materials
Getting hire units ready – cleaning, prepping, and packing for transport
Carrying out basic repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep
Inspecting returned equipment and identifying any issues
Using hand and power tools for day-to-day maintenance tasks




Assisting with stocktakes and keeping the yard organised
Completing easy paperwork and recording asset movements

About You:
A current Forklift Licence (High Risk)
A current Driver’s Licence
Experience using tools and carrying out general maintenance or repairs
A practical, problem-solving mindset
Valuable attention to detail and work ethic
Basic computer skills for simple reporting

Highly Regarded but not essential:
Working at Heights Licence (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in construction, building, trades, or modular environments
