Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our workshop team, specialising in the assembly and manufacturing of electrical switchboards.

About the Role

/n

This position is primarily workshop-based and involves the assembly, wiring, and fit-out of electrical switchboards for a range of industrial and construction projects. You will work closely with our engineering and project teams to deliver high-quality, compliant products.

Key Responsibilities

/n

Assemble and wire electrical switchboards to drawings and specifications

/n
Interpret electrical schematics and layouts

/n
Carry out functional testing and quality checks of completed boards

/n
Assist with panel layout, component mounting, and internal wiring

/n
Maintain a clean, organised, and secure workshop setting

/n
Work collaboratively with supervisors and project teams to meet deadlines

/n/n

Support apprentices and less experienced team members

About You

/n

/n
Trade-qualified Electrician (Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent)

/n
Experience with switchboard building or panel wiring highly regarded

/n
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

/n
Robust attention to detail and pride in workmanship

/n
Commitment to safety and quality

/n/n
