Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer focussed Hospitality Manager to join our busy BBQ Restaurant. Our popular and busy venue is located in Walloon, 15 minutes west of Ipswich, 2 minutes off the Warrego Highway.

The Restaurant Manager plays a vital role in creating a positive experience for guests and supporting the front of house environment for staff. This is a key role that works closely with the Restaurant Owners and Head Chef to deliver on the business vision.

Responsibilities:

/n

Managing and engaging front of house team to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

/n

Onboarding, training and upskilling staff

/n

High level of communication that is motivating and engaging amongst all staff

/n

Experience working to financial goals of the business- Scheduling, inventory and expense control

/n

Manage stock levels for FOH and working with Assistant Manager to ensure stock iskept at appropriate levels

/n

Order stock as required

/n

Ability to train and backfill all FOH positions including Bar and Café to assist in the smooth operating of the venue.

/n

Managing VIP guests

/n

Handling customer complaints and ensuring they are resolved to their satisfaction.

/n

Opening and closing of the venue

/n





Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

/n

Conducting regular meetings to plan and improve processes

/n

Creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers, ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience.

/n

Encouraging staff to build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and provide personalised experiences.

/n

Opening and closing duties including shift and wastage reports

/n

Requirements:

/n

Experience in Management role in a restaurant

/n

Food Safety Certificate

/n

Must be available to work on some closes and work weekends

/n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

/n

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

/n

Strong leadership and team management skills

/n

RMLV, RSA

/n

A passion for delivering excellent customer service and empowering a team

/n

Be organised and possess outstanding communication skills

/n
