Bretts Timber and Hardware have been a mainstay of the Brisbane building industry for over 108 years with 6 major divisions all stemming from our timber and hardware origins. With over 300 staff and 9 locations we provide an outstanding level of service to our clients.

About the Role

/n

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in safely delivering trade timber and hardware to our valued customers, building sites, and distribution points. When not on the road, you'll also lend a hand onsite gaining experience in the timber yard.

/n

Your core responsibilities will include:

/n

Operating a company vehicle to complete protected and efficient deliveries.

/n

Providing excellent customer service to builders and site managers.

/n

Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle pre-start checks.

/n

Skills/Experience

/n

We're looking for people who are reliable, physically capable, and take pride in both their driving and team work.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

/n





A current Queensland Driver's Licence (Class C).

/n

Minimum 2 years experience in delivery driving (construction, trades, or manufacturing preferred).

/n

Ability and willingness to contribute to general team output.

/n

Solid understanding of manual handling safety and WHS practices.

/n

Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude.

/n

Physically fit – capable of lifting and moving materials safely.

/n

A solid work ethic, with an ability to work independently and in a team.

/n
