South West Four Wheel Drive Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanic/Auto Dismantler to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. As a Mechanic/Auto Dismantler, you will play a crucial role in our full‐time vehicle dismantling operations, working to dismantle and recycle automotive parts and components.

What you'll be doing
/n
/n
Safely dismantle a variety of vehicles, on a hoist to extract and salvage reusable parts and components, including engine & transmissions
/n
Organise and catalogue dismantled parts to ensure productive inventory management
/n
Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet daily dismantling targets
/n
Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
/n
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to support efficient operations
/n/n
What we're looking for
/n
/n
Proven experience in automotive dismantling or a similar role within the automotive trades industry
/n
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and dismantle complex vehicle systems
/n
Commitment to workplace safety and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
/n
Must have own tools & the ability to work on a large array of vehicles
/n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
/n
Positive attitude & robust work ethic
/n
A current forklift licence would be highly advantageous
/n/n
