Job Description

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently looking for a Client Service Officer to commence in a role at the Townsville Sports Precinct, a large sports and recreational precinct. The venue hosts a range of sport, recreation and fitness events and activities for a wide range of users.

The role forms part of a well-established Venue Services team, working together to provide a high quality experience for sports clubs and teams , community organisations, school groups, and individuals. The role contributes largely to the overall customer experience for visitors and requires a friendly and organised individual.

In this role you will:

/n

/n
Deliver exceptional customer service to a wide variety of clients.

/n
Greet and induct all hirers on arrival to the venue.

/n
Ensure all visitors experience a high level of service by contributing towards maintaining spaces to a high standard and are safe for use.

/n
Assist with general operational duties and emergent cleaning where required.

/n
Manage facility and sports equipment set up and pack down tasks, often meeting tight deadlines.

/n
Confidently utilise software associated with venue bookings, member management, and Microsoft products.

/n
Confidently manage sales and purchases,



whilst tracking and reporting accurately on financial information.

/n
Provide suitable emergency management response (if required) in accordance with the Venue's policies and procedures.

What we are looking for:

/n

/n
Previous experience in a similar role (customer service, sport, recreation, tourism, or hospitality industries)

/n
Flexibility to carry out shifts varying from Day, Afternoon and Night Shifts (including weekend work).

/n
Positive Blue card - mandatory

/n
Current first aid and CPR certificate - mandatory
