About the Role

/n

Join the Tree Services team undertaking tree maintenance and removal across the Redland City Council region. This is a ground-based role involving the safe operation of EWPs, chainsaws and pole saws. Tree climbing is not required, making this an excellent chance for a tree climber, EWP operator or groundsperson seeking improved work-life balance.





/n

Duties include:

/n

/n
Tree trimming and tree removal

/n
Operating EWPs, chainsaws and pole saws

/n
Assisting with tree maintenance works

/n
Working safely in accordance with Council procedures and Australian Standards

/n/n

Requirements

/n

You must hold one of the following qualifications:

/n

/n
Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent)

/n
Certificate III in Arboriculture

/n
Certificate in Landscape Construction (including Playground Inspector Level 2)

/n
Certificate in Conservation & Land Management, Fire Management, or equivalent

/n/n

Desirable

/n

/n
Chainsaw Level 1 & 2

/n
EWP Ticket

/n
MR Driver's Licence

/n
Knowledge of AS4373-2007 Pruning of Amenity Trees

/n
Experience in tree maintenance or vegetation management
