Your new company Hays are partnering with a number of leading electrical contractors across Melbourne who are experiencing robust project growth and are seeking experienced Commercial Electricians to join their teams.
With projects ranging from large-scale commercial developments and fit-outs through to schools, hospitals, warehouses, data centres and retail projects, there are multiple opportunities available across Melbourne.
Your new role
As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for:
Installation of cable tray, conduit and containment systems
Rough-in and fit-off works
Power and lighting installation
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
Switchboard installation and terminations
Testing and commissioning
Working safely within commercial construction environments
What you'll need to succeed
A Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)




White Card
Commercial construction experience
Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
Strong understanding of Australian electrical standardsOwn tools and reliable transport
Excellent work ethic and commitment to site safety
Desirable
EWP Ticket

First Aid
LV Rescue & CPR
Data, healthcare or data centre project experience
