Intermediate Tax Accountant

The role:
You will work across a varied portfolio of Australian businesses, preparing and reviewing:
Financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders
Income tax returns, BAS, IAS and FBT returns
Tax planning and general business advisory matters
Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations with senior support
Management reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts
Client queries and ATO correspondence
You will also have the opportunity to build stronger client relationships and develop your advisory skills beyond traditional compliance.
About you:
To be successful, you will have:
3+ years' experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a range of entities
Commenced or completed CA/CPA studies (preferred)
Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in working with clients
A desire to continue developing technically and progress your career
This role would suit an
Intermediate Accountant looking to step up from a compliance-focused role
