Job Description Manhattan WMS Consultant / Retail Warehousing & Supply Chain Specialist (12+ Years Experience) Position: Senior Manhattan WMS Consultant / Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations Lead Skilled Summary Highly experienced Retail Warehousing and Supply Chain professional with 12+ years of experience in designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with extensive expertise in Manhattan WMS. Proven track record of delivering large-scale warehouse transformation programs, distribution center optimization, inventory management, automation integration, and end-to-end supply chain solutions within retail and omnichannel environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, upgrade, configuration, and support of Manhattan WMS solutions across multiple distribution centers.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into warehouse management system designs and functional specifications.
Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, replenishment, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, warehouse managers, supply chain teams, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to improve operational efficiency.
Drive warehouse process optimization initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve service levels.
Support system integration between Manhattan WMS, ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, JDA, Blue Yonder), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and automation solutions.
Lead testing activities including SIT, UAT, integration testing, and production deployment.
Monitor warehouse KPIs such as Inventory Accuracy, Order Fill Rate, On-Time Delivery, Productivity, and Cycle Time.




Provide production support and resolve critical warehouse operational issues within defined SLAs.
Facilitate user training, change management, and knowledge transfer activities.
Manage offshore/onshore teams and coordinate with vendors, business users, and technical teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and industry best practices.

Experience with retail, eCommerce, omnichannel, and distribution center operations.
