We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant or Executive to join our HR team in Mulgrave, VIC!
This is a permanent full-time position.
What you'll be doing
Human Resources Management
Efficiently complete daily HR functions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Aid in the end-to-end recruitment process, including talent selection, induction, onboarding, and training of new employees.
Update and formulate recent job descriptions to align with evolving organisational needs.
Assist overseeing processes and workflows for HRIS systems and implement changes as necessary.
Assist in the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S;) measures.
Administer Workcover claims and contribute to the development of return-to-work plans.
Contribute to the quarterly newsletter through content creation.
Participate in the planning of company events.




Conduct research to develop, update, and review policies.
Ensure compliance with current legislation.
Payroll
Willingness to learn and process Payroll function if and when required based on business needs.
What we're looking for
Full Australian working rights and MUST live in Australia
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field is highly regarded
Demonstrated previous experience in HRM/Payroll related roles is desirable
Experience using HRIS platforms is desirable but not essential, especially Employment Hero and ADP
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of HR practices and compliance
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic and diverse work environment
