The Role
You'll be responsible for:
Supervise and coordinate a team of Heavy Diesel
Fitters, Servicepersons,



Mechanics and Tyre Fitters
Schedule, allocate, and monitor maintenance tasks
Drive safety and compliance through effective
leadership and field presence
Lead preventative maintenance and scheduled
servicing
Support planning, breakdown response, and
continuous improvement initiatives
Accurate recording and reviewing of maintenance
data via AMT
Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure
reporting accuracy
What You'll Need
Trade-qualified in relevant mechanical field
(Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic or similar)
Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an
open-cut mining environment
Current drivers licence
Strong working knowledge of CAT & Komatsu surface
mobile equipment
Ability to lead a team, communicate professionally,
and liaise confidently with clients and management
Ability to wear a respirator uninhibited (no facial
hair)
