Senior React Native Engineer – Permanent, Full time Sydney, NSW (CBD) | Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
Design & Develop:
Build, optimise, and integrate new features for the mobile application.
Collaboration:
Work closely with design and product teams to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences.
Code Quality:
Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong test coverage.
Leadership:
Contribute to architectural decisions and establish best practices for mobile engineering.
Mentorship:
Mentor team members and help elevate overall engineering standards.
Performance & Reliability:
Continuously improve app performance, accessibility, and reliability.
Skills & Experience
Experience:
3+ years in React Native, TypeScript,



and JavaScript.
State Management:
Familiarity with tools like React Query, Zustand, Redux, or Context.
Testing:
Strong understanding of testing frameworks (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox).
Native Development:
Exposure to native iOS/Android development (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java, C++).
API Integration:
Experience integrating APIs, SDKs, and platform-specific modules.
Design Systems:
Knowledge of design systems and responsive UI principles.
Version Control:
Proficiency with Git workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and agile tools (JIRA).
Passion for Coding:
A passion for clean code, continuous learning, and mentoring others.
