Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with one of Australia's leading Mechanical Contractors?
We're partnering with a nationally recognised Tier I contractor that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering some of Australia's most technically challenging building services projects.
Due to continued project wins and a strong forward workload, they are looking to appoint an Intermediate to Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Sydney team.

The Opportunity
You'll become part of an experienced engineering team responsible for delivering the mechanical design of major HVAC systems from concept through to construction.
Current projects include high-profile healthcare developments with mechanical services packages exceeding$100 million, alongside an impressive portfolio of commercial, data centre, education and university projects.
This role will provide exposure to technically complex chilled water systems, multidisciplinary collaboration and the opportunity to contribute to some of Australia's most recognised developments.
Responsibilities
Mechanical HVAC design across major building services projects




Design and coordination of chilled water systems and associated plant
Prepare engineering calculations, equipment selections and technical documentation
Produce detailed design solutions compliant with Australian Standards and the National Construction Code
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and construction teams
Support project delivery from concept design through to construction and commissioning
Review designs and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery
About You
To be considered you will ideally possess:
Minimum5 years' Mechanical Building Services Designexperience
Experience designing HVAC systems on large commercial, healthcare, retail, education or similar projects
Strong knowledge of chilled water systems and central plant design
Excellent understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and local design codes
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Full Australian working rights or a valid visa permitting full time employment in Australia
