About the role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Maintenance Fitter to join our team In Dingley Village. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in mechanical maintenance and engineering trades while gaining hands‐on experience and formal training.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will learn how to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery in a safe and professional environment.
Assist qualified fitters with maintenance and repair work




Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
Learn to diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely
Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Complete apprenticeship training and coursework requirements
To be successful, you will possess the following:
Genuine interest in Mechanical trades and maintenance.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
Mechanically minder with problem solving ability
Reliable, punctual and safety focused
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Driver's licence preferred but not essential.
Requirements
Completion of Year 10 or equivalent
Commitment to completing a trade apprenticeship
Basic maths and literacy skills
Previous workshop or mechanical experience highly regarded
