Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Weekends Off
$20–$30 per hour, based on experience
Kitchen Tune-Up is looking for an experienced, skilled carpenter / cabinet installer to join our growing remodeling team.
We are looking for a true craftsman who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and can independently perform high-quality cabinet installation, cabinet modifications, finish carpentry, and general kitchen remodeling work.
This is not an entry‐level position. We need someone with hands‐on carpentry and remodeling experience who can step onto a jobsite, understand the work that needs to be accomplished, and complete it professionally, accurately, and efficiently.
Responsibilities & Required Skills
Install, level, align, and secure kitchen cabinetry
Perform cabinet modifications and custom fitting in the field
Install and modify base, wall, and pantry cabinets
Install crown molding, light rail, toe kicks, shoe molding, fillers, finished panels, and trim
Perform detailed finish carpentry
Install and adjust cabinet doors and drawer fronts
Install and adjust soft‐close hinges and drawer slides
Install knobs, pulls, and other cabinet hardware
Install rollout trays and cabinet storage accessories
Accurately measure, cut, fit, and make field adjustments
Read measurements and basic plans/layouts
Troubleshoot installation challenges and develop practical solutions
Perform general kitchen remodeling and punch‐list work
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
What We're Looking For
The Successful Applicant Must Be
An experienced carpenter and/or cabinet installer




Dependable and punctual
Detail-oriented with pride in their craftsmanship
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Professional and respectful when working inside customers' homes
Comfortable communicating with customers, coworkers, and project management
Able to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Able to perform the physical requirements associated with kitchen remodeling and cabinet installation
Tools & Transportation
Kitchen Tune-Up provides the tools required to perform the job. Experienced carpenters are also welcome to use their own personal tools when preferred.
Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
