Your Health Place Medical Centre is a well-established general practice in Castlemaine, dedicated to providing high-quality and patient-focused healthcare.
We are currently seeking a
Practice Nurse
to join our team on a
permanent part-time basis
, working every
Monday and Tuesday
.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in a general practice setting.
Perform health assessments, chronic disease management, care plans, and preventive health activities.
Administer vaccinations and support immunisation programs.
Provide wound care, ECGs, spirometry, and other clinical procedures as required.
Coordinate patient recalls, reminders, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Medical Director software.
Work collaboratively with GPs, reception staff, and allied health professionals.
Support quality improvement, infection prevention, and accreditation activities.
About You
Current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).




Previous experience in a general practice setting (preferred).
Immunisation accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
A proactive, compassionate, and patient-centred approach to care.
Computer literate
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
