Morgan Engineering is growing and we are looking for experienced,
trade-qualified Welders, Boilermakers, Fabrication and Structural Fabricators
to join our Singleton workshop team on a permanent, full-time basis.
If you know your way around heavy mining equipment, take pride in

You'll be working on large-scale mining equipment, repairs, rebuilds and
new fabrication, alongside experienced tradespeople who care about doing the
job properly.

Based in our Singleton heavy fabrication workshop, you will work across
the repair, refurbishment and fabrication of large mining equipment and
components.
Depending on your experience, this may include:
Excavator
buckets and attachments
Off-highway
mining truck trays – new and refurbished
Large
mobile mining equipment and components
Heavy
equipment repairs and refurbishment
Fabrication
of new products from engineering drawings
You'll need to be comfortable working on large equipment, to tight
standards, in an environment where quality and safety matter.
Ideally, you'll bring:
AQF
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade, equivalent
qualification or relevant experience
Minimum
three years' experience in heavy mining equipment repair and/or
fabrication
Strong
experience fabricating from drawings and blueprints
Experience
repairing or fabricating large mining equipment, particularly excavator
buckets, off-highway truck trays, booms, sticks and associated mobile
equipment
Advanced
welding and fabrication skills
Extensive
air arc gouging experience
Ability
to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong
workshop experience
Excellent
safety standards
Ability
to work independently and maintain high-quality workmanship
Good
problem-solving skills and initiative
Strong
time management and ability to prioritise work
Respect
for your teammates and the people around you
Local
accommodation or willingness to relocate within approximately one hour of
Singleton
Forklift,
mobile crane, confined space, dogging and working at heights competencies
are also highly desirable.
