We are currently seeking a Site Foreman to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise all in office subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries to ensure works are completed in accordance with the construction program.
Work collaboratively with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, OHS Manager and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
Take a hands-on approach to site supervision, including the management and supervision of direct labour.
Monitor and maintain all WHS policies, procedures and site requirements.
Complete, maintain and manage all required site-based documentation, records and reporting.
Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays and implement solutions to maintain project timeframes.
Ensure construction activities are undertaken in accordance with approved plans, specifications, relevant codes and standards.
Skills & Experience:
To be considered for this position, you will need:
A minimum of




3 years' experience in commercial construction
.
A relevant
trade qualification
and current
Supervisor Licence
.
Demonstrated experience coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades.
Strong knowledge of
WHS requirements, policies and procedures
.
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, organise trades and maintain project timeframes.
High level of computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn and use internal systems.
Desirable skills include:
Previous experience using
construction management software systems.
Advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
.
Experience working on projects operating under the
FSC WHS framework
.
