CSBS is seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team on the Sunshine Coast.
You'll become part of an established team supporting three adults with complex physical and intellectual disabilities within a 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting.
About the people you'll support
You'll support three adults with complex physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and ongoing health support needs.
Each person has their own goals, interests, communication style, and support requirements.
Support may include assistance with mobility, personal care, health management, daily living tasks, community participation, and maintaining established routines.
Success in this role comes from being patient, observant, reliable, and committed to providing consistent support that promotes dignity, choice, independence, and quality of life.
About the role(s)
This is a hands-on support role within a busy and well-established Supported Independent Living home.
Supports may be delivered on a one-to-one, shared, or two-to-one basis depending on individual needs.
Your role may include:
Personal care and daily living support
Manual handling, transfers and mobility assistance
Hoist use and positioning supports
Medication administration and health monitoring
Mealtime assistance and modified diet support
Following Positive Behaviour Support strategies
Supporting community access and meaningful activities
Coordinating with allied health, clinical and nursing teams
Maintaining accurate documentation and shift reporting
Comprehensive training, induction and buddy shifts will be provided.

Previous disability support experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Flexibility and reliability
Confidence working independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safe support practices and quality documentation
Qualifications & Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Queensland Blue Card
Current First Aid & CPR
Open Driver Licence
Reliable insured vehicle
Smartphone with data access
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or similar (highly regarded)
