The Position:
An exciting prospect has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join a well-established professional services organisation based in Perth CBD on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Working as part of a supportive finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounts payable activities, alongside supporting the organisation's fortnightly payroll function.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys a varied role, is highly organised and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely work.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end Accounts Payable processing within a high-volume environment;
Invoice processing, coding and supplier reconciliations;
Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong internal relationships;
Processing supplier payments and credit card transactions;
Assisting with bank reconciliations and general finance administration;
Supporting the wider finance team with billing and month-end requirements;
Fortnightly payroll processing and associated administration;
Processing timesheets, deductions and superannuation;




Responding to payroll-related queries;
Providing general finance support and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required.
Skills and Experience:
5+ years' experience in a similar finance position;
Strong Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment;
Previous payroll processing experience highly regarded;
Experience within professional services is advantageous but not essential;
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
Solid organisational and time management skills;
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships;
Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute effectively within a team.
