This 1,700km fast freight backbone will complete our national freight network – better connecting producers to markets and creating new opportunities for regional businesses, industries and communities.
The Illabo to Stockinbingal project is about 39km of current rail corridor located within the local government areas of Junee and Cootamundra-Gundagai.
This new section of rail corridor will provide a direct route from east of Illabo, tracking north to Stockinbingal and connecting into the existing Forbes rail line.
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Signalling Project Engineer to join the team on our Cootamundra based project.
The Signalling Project Engineer will help lead engineering activities for the Illabo to Stockinbingal Inland Rail project, managing planning, forecasting, safety and compliance.
The role oversees subcontractors, prepares documentation, and supports construction delivery.
It suits an experienced rail signalling professional ready to work onsite on a major national infrastructure project.
Responsibilities of the role include: -Lead a team of engineers to assist with delivery of scope and cost estimating of works, including cost forecasting -Assist engineering team to achieve approvals where required -Preparation of both short- and longer-term detailed construction plans and targets as required -Utilise effective time management skills including sequencing of work of own and resource time management -Provide required reports to the Signalling Construction Manager to meet monthly reporting timelines -Lead a team of engineers to prepare relevant QA
