About the Role This is a standalone office-based role suited to someone who is comfortable working autonomously, takes initiative and genuinely understands the pace and requirements of a construction or trades environment.
You'll be responsible for keeping the office organised, coordinating trades and projects, managing documentation and providing practical support to the Director across the day-to-day running of the business.
Tasks Responsibilities Supporting the Director with day-to-day office and business coordination Coordinating trades, suppliers and project requirements Managing project documentation and keeping information up to date Assisting with contracts, variations and permits Tracking job costs and project information Assisting with estimating and quotation preparation Coordinating timelines, materials and trade requirements Managing emails, scheduling and general office administration Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors Maintaining compliance documentation and business records Identifying what needs to be done and taking ownership without needing constant direction Learning and managing relevant construction systems and processes Skills Experience 5 + years previous experience within construction, building or a trade-based setting An understanding of projects, trades, timeframes and site requirements Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive approach and a good sense of urgency The ability to work autonomously and manage your own priorities Confidence communicating with trades, suppliers, clients and the Director A practical,
solutions-focused approach The ability to interpret plans and drawings would be highly regarded Confidence learning new systems and processes Benefits Perks $75,000 - $90,000 + Super, depending on experience!

This role will work closely with the Director and play an important part in keeping the day-to-day business operations, trades and projects organised and on track.
