About the Role 4-12 week Midwifery contracts, with extensions often available Core and MGP opportunities Opportunities across regional, rural and remote Queensland hospitals and health services Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care Support women and families throughout their maternity journey Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary maternity teams Opportunities across hospital-based and community maternity services On-call and after-hours responsibilities may apply depending on the location/ role.
Key Responsibilities Provide protected, evidence-based midwifery care Provide antenatal and postnatal assessment and care Support women throughout labour and birth Identify and respond appropriately to maternal and neonatal complications Provide education, support and health promotion to women and families Maintain accurate clinical documentation Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals Deliver culturally safe,
