What happens when you take strong construction experience and add another layer to it?
This is an opportunity to apply your construction knowledge from a different perspective, assessing projects from both a delivery and funding standpoint while working closely with builders, developers, consultants and lenders.
ABOUT THE ROLE As the 2IC to the Construction Manager, you'll assist with the assessment, monitoring and administration of construction loans from approval through to completion.
You'll use your understanding of construction to assess progress, identify risk and support decisions around the release of further funding.
Key responsibilities include: • Assess builders, contractors and projects as part of prospective lending opportunities • Review QS and consultant reports, contracts, feasibilities, cash flows and project documentation • Monitor construction progress, costs, timelines and practical completion through regular site inspections • Manage drawdown requests and identify exclusions, omissions and emerging risks that could impact funding • Build strong relationships with builders, developers, consultants and other stakeholders • Manage multiple active projects while contributing to the improvement of lending processes and procedures ABOUT YOU We're interested in experienced construction professionals from backgrounds including:

Quantity Surveying | Project Management | Cost Estimating | Contracts Administration | Construction Lending | Building Inspection You'll bring: • 5+ years' relevant experience and a solid understanding of construction costs, development and project feasibility • The ability to interpret contracts, reports, cash flows and project documentation and identify potential risks • Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and relationship management capability • Strong organisation and attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects Experience across residential, subdivision, commercial, industrial or low-rise construction will be highly regarded.
A current unrestricted Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential, with regular travel across Southeast Queensland required.
THE PROSPECT You'll work alongside an experienced Construction Manager and senior leadership team, gaining exposure to private construction lending while continuing to use the construction knowledge and project judgement you've built your career on.
It's a growing business with genuine career progression, diverse projects across Australia and the chance to play a key role as the construction lending function expands.
