About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Plant Operator to join a road maintenance crew based in Narrandera .
You'll operate plant and vehicles, complete general road maintenance and labouring duties, and help keep regional roads safe and operational.
Position : Plant Operator Rate : $***** per hour + superannuation Location : Narrandera, NSW Duration : ASAP until 30 October **** Roster : 9-day fortnight - 8.5 hours per day/ 76 hours per fortnight Key Responsibilities Operate plant, machinery and vehicles safely Complete road maintenance and civil works Assist with pavement repairs and patching Perform general labouring and manual tasks Use powered and non-powered hand tools Complete daily plant and safety checks Refuel and undertake basic equipment care Assist with traffic control activities when required Follow WHS, environmental and site procedures Identify hazards and report equipment faults Work safely around live road environments Support the crew wherever required About You We're after someone reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working outdoors in a physical role.
Previous plant operation, civil or road maintenance experience Current White Card Current MR Driver Licence or above Current Workers on Foot or willingness to obtain (own expense)



Current Traffic Control tickets or willingness to obtain (own expense) Confident operating plant and machinery Comfortable completing manual labouring duties Strong commitment to workplace safety Able to work effectively within a crew Able to complete and pass a National Criminal History Check and two reference checks Valid Australian working rights required (No visa sponsorship is available for this position) Application Process Due to the high volume of applications and the limited submission timeframe, we may not be able to contact all applicants.
