Sell to advisors that influence financial business decisions.
pay.com.au has processed over $10 billion in business payments since ****.
Over 70,000 Australian businesses now run their BAS, payroll, super and supplier payments through it.
It has just raised $53 million at a valuation above $633 million, more than double a year ago, and it has recently launched in the US.
The Advisor Program is how it reaches the next 70,000.
Accounting and bookkeeping practices already hold the trust of thousands of small business owners.
Get a practice using the platform themselves, and their whole client base opens up.
Partner Manager means something different in every business, so here is what it means at pay.com.au .
New business at the front, account management behind it.
You win practices, then you grow what they refer.
It is a blended role and that is the point of it.
Why this role $85-$100K base plus super, with $130K to $140K OTE.
Commission paid quarterly Commission weighted to what actually happens, not to signatures.
You are paid when an advisor transacts and again when their referrals do A funded business behind you.
$53 million raised, valuation above $633 million, and a recent launch into the US A BDR team booking meetings into your diary, and growing Progression that has already happened for other people here.
BDRs have moved up to senior BDR and into mentorship with the BDM team, and your manager is actively building routes into the wider commercial team A new Melbourne office expanding to three floors, catered lunches on Thursdays, drinks at the end of every month What you'll actually do Prospect and win accounting and bookkeeping practices into the Advisor Program Get the practice transacting on the platform themselves, so they can talk about it honestly Influence the partners,
practice managers and bookkeepers inside each firm, not just whoever took your first call Grow the referrals coming out of your portfolio Work through a minimum of 20 meetings a week, a mix of BDR-booked and your own Build your own pipeline through your network and industry events.
Not cold calling all day, but not waiting either Hand every referred client to the activations team with a warm introduction, then leave them to it.
Onboarding referrals is not your job Keep the CRM straight so your forecast means something Who this suits You don't need partnerships on your CV.
What matters is whether you can influence someone who has no obvious reason to care.
That is the actual job.
An accountant pays a fee to use this platform, and on the face of it that does not stack up for them.
They are numbers people and they will tell you so.
Building the case is the work.
Asking for the signature is not.
Two sides to your background.
You can open and you can hold.
A 360 role, or a blended account management role You generate pipeline.
If your last job handed you a full diary, this will come as a shock You can sit in front of a room of accountants and be taken seriously You think a step ahead.
Not "will you sign up", but "what does this practice need before it puts its own clients forward" Organised enough to run a portfolio and a pipeline at the same time You want to be in an office.
Three to four days a week here, and that is not adaptable early on Partnerships or referral channel experience is a real advantage.
So is a BDR background, because it proves you can build something from nothing.
Neither one is essential.
What success looks like First month: you know the product well enough to hold your own with an accountant who is testing you First quarter: practices signed, and the first of them transacting By six months: a portfolio that refers consistently, not one that has only signed By twelve months: advisors who ring you before they ring anyone else Why this one is different The honest version first.
Plenty of practices will join the program and never refer anybody.
You will sign firms that go quiet, and going back a fourth time to make it easy for them is the job rather than an annoyance.
Accountants and bookkeepers vanish around BAS and tax deadlines.
And the office expectation is real, three to four days, because your manager wants you onboarded properly and sitting near the rest of the sales floor.
What you get in return is a business with money in the bank and $10 billion already through the platform, a channel with an obvious reason to exist, and a manager who is building this team out and has clear routes up for the people who do well.
If you want a role where your number depends on how well you influence people rather than how many dials you make, this is that role.

This role is to be filled by Pointer, it is not a role at Pointer.
The successful candidate also receives 12 months of ongoing training, coaching and mentorship provided by Pointer, in addition to anything run internally.
