Farm Hand Permanent Role $70k-$75k PA Boogan QLD POSITION We have a full time position for a Farm Hand in Boogan, QLD ****.
SKILLS You must have at least 1 year of relevant job experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES The Farm Hand is responsible for carrying out a wide range of cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest activities to support the production of high-quality bananas.
POSITION DUTIES You will need to undertake the following tasks; Carry out general banana farm cultivation, pruning, bunch care and harvesting duties.
Operate farm machinery and equipment safely, including completing required pre-start checks.
Select, bag and protect banana bunches using the correct coloured bags and sizes.
Perform bell injecting, bunch pruning and other crop maintenance activities as required.
Clean, sterilise and maintain equipment, and report completed tasks to farm management.
Follow all PPE, chemical handling, food safety, biosecurity and workplace health and safety requirements.
SALARY The position will attract a salary between $****** to $****** per annum.
