Senior HSIE Legal Studies Teacher - Permanent Location: South-West Sydney Position: Senior HSIE Legal Studies Teacher Contract: Permanent Start Date: Immediate Market-competitive salary About the role Prospero Teaching is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Senior HSIE Legal Studies Teacher to join one of our partner independent schools in South-West Sydney on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSIE educator with strong Legal Studies expertise to join a supportive and growing school community.
The successful candidate will teach senior secondary HSIE and Legal Studies, with a strong focus on preparing students for the HSC and developing their critical thinking, analytical and research skills.
The school is conveniently located in South-West Sydney and is easily accessible from surrounding suburbs including Liverpool, Fairfield, Hoxton Park and Casula.

Key responsibilities Deliver engaging HSIE and Legal Studies lessons across secondary and senior year levels Teach and support students undertaking HSC Legal Studies Plan,



assess and deliver lessons aligned with NESA curriculum requirements Prepare students for HSC examinations and assessment tasks Develop students' critical thinking, research, analytical and communication skills Monitor student progress and provide targeted feedback Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment Contribute to faculty planning and curriculum development Build strong relationships with students, colleagues and the wider school community What we're looking for Current NESA registration (Conditional, Provisional or Proficient) Relevant Secondary Teaching qualification Strong experience teaching Legal Studies and senior HSIE Experience teaching HSC courses preferred Strong knowledge of NESA curriculum and HSC assessment requirements Excellent classroom management and communication skills Ability to inspire and engage senior secondary students Commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence Why work with Prospero Teaching?
