The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 1 class , delivering engaging and differentiated learning experiences while supporting students' academic, social and emotional development.

Key responsibilities Teach and manage a Year 1 classroom Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum Plan and assess learning in line with NESA requirements Develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills Create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback Support student wellbeing and social-emotional development Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues Contribute to collaborative planning and the wider school community What we're looking for Current NESA registration (Conditional, Provisional or Proficient) Relevant Primary Teaching qualification Experience teaching Early Stage 1 or Stage 1 preferred Strong knowledge of early literacy and numeracy Excellent classroom management and communication skills Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff Commitment to student wellbeing and positive learning outcomes Why work with Prospero Teaching?
