Full time, Temporary (Parental Leave replacement to September ****) Band 6, Starting salary $94,713 plus superannuation The City of Greater Bendigo is in the heart of central Victoria on Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung Country.

The Role Are you a dedicated Strategic Planner wanting to make a difference to our community?
Greater Bendigo is a growing regional city, with the population expected to reach around 200,000 by ****.
You will be responsible for researching and preparing high quality, innovative strategic plans to guide change and growth throughout the municipality.
You will also be responsible for preparing planning scheme amendments, planning policies and providing strategic planning advice.
Current projects include structure plans, heritage studies,



urban design frameworks and proponent-led amendments.
This is a temporary, parental leave backfill role to September ****.
About You To be successful in this role you will have relevant qualifications and planning experience.
You will have knowledge of the relevant Acts, Victorian Planning Provisions and planning scheme amendments together with strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
You will enjoy working in a team environment and have highly developed analytical, investigative, creative and conceptual skills.
Previous experience in any level of government is desirable.
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
