Construction Project Manager | Toowoomba The Opportunity We're partnering with an established Queensland builder looking to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing team.
With a solid pipeline across social housing, commercial, automotive and retirement living, you'll take ownership of projects typically ranging from $5M-$10M, with larger developments reaching approximately $30M.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a lean project team where you can genuinely take ownership rather than getting lost within layers of management.
About the Role Working alongside the General Manager and Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful commercial and operational delivery of your projects from pre-construction through to completion.
The business operates with a lean internal structure consisting of Project Managers, Contract Administration and Site Management.
Your responsibilities will include: End-to-end management of commercial construction projects Managing project budgets, forecasting and commercial performance Procurement and management of subcontractor packages Contract administration, variations, claims and cost control Programming and monitoring construction progress Working closely with Site Managers to drive project delivery Managing client,



consultant and subcontractor relationships Identifying project risks and resolving issues before they impact delivery Ensuring projects meet programme, quality, safety and compliance requirements Ideally, you will have: Proven Project Management experience within commercial building Strong commercial and contractual capability Experience managing subcontractors and trade packages Sound knowledge of Australian construction codes and standards Solid programming, cost management and reporting capability A practical approach to problem solving Confidence dealing directly with clients, consultants and subcontractors The ability to travel regularly to Toowoomba if Brisbane based Candidates from interstate or other regions are encouraged to apply, provided you have strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
