About the TeamThe Integrated Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) provides complex secondary and tertiary level health care. CYMHS offers specialised mental health services for families with children and young people (birth to 18 years) who experience severe and complex mental health problems, and where their needs cannot be met by other services.About the RoleThe position of Team Leader, Child and Youth Mental Health Services will be:Accountable for all operational and managerial aspects and leadership of the multidisciplinary team of child and youth mental health.Demonstrating a high level of clinical knowledge and skill to ensure effective service delivery within the speciality area of the child and youth mental health services.Domain 1: Direct comprehensive care or provision of direct careAccountable for Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and own standards, actions and the outcomes of own nursing practice, professional advice given and for all delegated activities.Lead the management, application and evaluation of contemporary human, material, and financial resource management within the health care team environment.Domain 2: Support of SystemsSupport the integration of key objectives from the Children's Health Queensland/Divisional strategic and operational plans and clinical service profiles into service delivery for the Community CYMHS Program.Establish an interagency approach to service development and implementation through consulting and liaising with non-government and other government organisations and developing, formalising and maintaining strategic partnerships utilising highly developed interpersonal communication,
