Disability Support Workers (Complex Care)
For Care is an NDIS provider supporting participants across Brisbane, Toowoomba, the Gold Coast and Hervey Bay. We provide Supported Independent Living, in-home care, community access, personal care, transport and plan management services.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide high-level, person-centred support to participants with complex care needs in the Gatton area. This includes supporting individuals with complex and challenging behaviours, medical and health support needs (including PEG feeding and medication administration), and participants who require 2:1 staffing or around-the-clock care. You will work within Behaviour Support Plans and may support participants with restrictive practices in place, always in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements.
We are looking to onboard multiple team members across day, evening and overnight shifts, with both ongoing and flexible opportunities available.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking support workers who:
Have a calm, patient and supportive approach
Can respond positively and remain regulated under pressure
Communicate clearly and respectfully with participants, families and team members
Are reliable and thrive working as part of a close-knit team
Are comfortable working within Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practice frameworks
Are able to provide personal care and health support, including PEG feeding and medication prompting or administration




Are adaptable and committed to high-quality, consistent care
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience supporting participants with complex behaviours, autism, and/or high medical support needs
Experience working within Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) frameworks
Familiarity with NDIS restrictive practice authorisation processes
MAYBO training highly regarded - if not currently held, training will be provided internally prior to commencement
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
First Aid and CPR Certificates
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
Right to work in Australia and a current driver's licence
