Job Description – HRIS Senior Test Analyst
Role Title: SuccessFactors HR Senior Test Analyst
Location: Melbourne/Sydney
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning and Delivery
Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, schedules, and effort estimates
Lead QA, Exploratory, SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end testing activities.
Ensure traceability between requirements, test scenarios, results and defects.
Align testing practices with enterprise QA governance and compliance requirements
HR Business Process and HRIS testing
Validate end-to-end HR business processes across SuccessFactors.
Lead testing across Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding and Performance modules.
Provide Quality Assurance of Vendors unit and system testing deliverables
Validate integrations with SAP CPI, payroll and downstream systems.
Ensure business rules, workflows, security and organisational structures function as intended.
Validate compliance with HR policies and enterprise controls.
Support business process walkthroughs and requirements validation activities.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with HR, business stakeholders, project teams and vendors.
Plan, co-ordinate and support UAT activities and business sign-off
Facilitate defect triage and governance forums
7. Quality and Continuous improvement
Establish defect management, reporting and quality metrics.
Ensure testing artefacts are audit-ready and compliant with enterprise standards.
Drive automation opportunities for repeatable regression testing.
Required Skills & Experience
HRIS and SuccessFactors Expertise
7+ years' experience in HRIS testing, including SAP SuccessFactors.
Strong experience testing: Employee Central
Recruitment & Onboarding
Performance & Goals
Experience testing: Business Rules

Testing Experience
Strong expertise in SIT, UAT, regression and E2E testing
Experience applying risk-based, Exploratory and session-based testing techniques
Experience with API and integration testing tools
Exposure to test automation tools such as Tosca, Selenium or Playwright
Tools
JIRA / PractiTest for test management
Defect tracking and reporting tools
Delivery & Leadership
Experience leading distributed teams
Expertise in review and QA of vendor deliverables
Strong stakeholder communication and engagement
Experience in SaaS / hybrid delivery models, especially SuccessFactors
Preferred Qualifications
ISTQB or equivalent certification
Key Expectations (Critical for Screening)
Extensive SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central testing experience.
Strong understanding of end-to-end Hire-to-Retire business processes.
Experience validating HR workflows, business rules and organisational structures.
Proven ability to engage with HR business stakeholders and challenge requirements.
Experience testing enterprise HR transformation programs.
Ability to design test scenarios using HR business outcomes rather than system requirements alone.
