About the role
Lead rural health policy and advocacy initiatives, develop strategic submissions and policy positions, and provide governance support to the Rural Council. Reporting to the Faculty Manager, you'll collaborate with internal teams and engage government, sector partners and rural stakeholders
As our Senior Policy Advisor – Rural, you'll also:
Analyse policy, legislation and emerging rural health reforms.
Prepare high-quality submissions, briefings and position statements.
Represent RACGP Rural in government and sector engagement.
Coordinate rural input into College-wide policy and research initiatives.
Skills & Experience
Experience in health policy, advocacy or government relations.
Solid policy writing and strategic communication skills.
Ability to build influential stakeholder relationships.
Knowledge of rural health policy and workforce reform.
