Classification:SCHADSLevel )4 with a salary range of $92,378 - $99,393per annum pro rata + Superannuation

New Program
The Community Living Supports (CLS) Program provides community-based psychosocial support to people with severe mental health conditions so that they can live independently in their communities. It is a holistic and culturally responsive service that builds on the strengths and aspirations of people with severe mental health conditions, working together to create and achieve meaningful goals and personal change.
We work with people who sit between acute responses and longer-term support, and who benefit from flexible, community-based assistance that responds to the full context of their lives. By taking a holistic wellbeing approach to these interconnected challenges, we help people build strategies that strengthen their wellbeing and achieve the outcomes that matter to them
About the new Role
The WorkWell employment program supports consumer health and wellbeing outcomes through open employment. With practice guidance from the Vocational Services Manager, the Vocational Specialist will work within the program team in the context of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, supporting individuals to pursue meaningful employment and study goals through personalised, strengths-based support that is integrated with their mental health recovery journey.

Working collaboratively within the program team, the Vocational Specialist uses judgement and initiative to lead the vocational components of wrap-around support for consumer recovery and employment.

What you will bring to the role
Formal tertiary qualification in a related field and/or equivalent experience working in a relevant setting.
Understanding of barriers to employment and education faced by vulnerable people.




Experience working with consumer information systems, maintaining accurate documentation and data collection.
High level of interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Solid capacity to engage effectively when working with discomfort, distress andpeople experiencing crisis.
Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and to prioritise multiple tasks to meet conflicting deadlines.
Ability to establish respectful professional relationships that have clear boundaries with consumers, staff and partner organisations.
Ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of a diverse range of people and identify changing needs within a group.
Transferable sector knowledge and experience.
Strong computer literacy.
