We're currently seeking an experienced Brisbane-based
Accountant
to join our growing team. The role supports project teams and the FinanceManager by ensuring accurate management, control, and reporting of Graya's financial performance. This is a detail-driven role that supportssmooth project delivery and ensures Graya's financial operations stay sharp,consistent and compliant.

What You'll Do
Project & DevelopmentAccounting
Maintain accurate job cost accounting acrossdevelopment and construction projects, ensuring costs are correctly allocatedby project, stage, cost code and entity
Monitor project budgets versus actuals andassist with cost-to-complete and cash flow forecasting
Assist with month-end close processes, includingaccruals, prepayments and reconciliations
Prepare and maintain balance sheetreconciliations (WIP, creditors, retention, GST, intercompany)
Support preparation of monthly managementreports,



project financial reports and development summaries
Assist with statutory reporting requirements, including GST/BAS and audit support
Liaise with external accountants for the end offinancial year reports and IAS returns
Project Costing & APSupport
Process subcontractor, supplier and consultant invoices in Procore, Jobpac and MYOB/Xero, ensuring correct entity, job, cost code and approval workflow
Liaise with Project Managers, ContractAdministrators and suppliers to resolve invoice queries, missing documentationor coding issues
Monitor invoice approval status in Procore andfollow up to ensure invoices are approved and paid on time
Process urgent and ad hoc payments in line withapproved procedures
Systems & Administration
Assist with credit applications, document filingand digital record management.
Support continuous improvement of accountsprocesses and workflows
Maintain the integrity of data across MYOB, Xero, Procore, Jobpac and other platforms, resolving sync or integration issues
Provide day-to-day support to the FinanceManager with accounts, reporting preparation, banking and project cost reviews
Work collaboratively with the wider finance andproject teams to support smooth financial operations
