Yard Forklift Operator
to join a busy heavy equipment facility based in

This is a high-volume yard role working around large machinery, heavy components and ongoing dispatch activity. You'll be responsible for keeping freight and equipment moving safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with consistent full-time hours and a genuine
temp-to-permanent opportunity
for the right candidate.
Duties
Operate counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently throughout a busy industrial yard
Load and unload trucks carrying oversized, awkward and high-value machinery components
Move heavy equipment and materials throughout the yard and workshop
Coordinate multiple movements while maintaining strong safety awareness
Work closely with mechanics, fitters and dispatch teams
Assist with dispatch preparation, stock movements and general yard duties
Maintain an organised and efficient yard during periods of high activity
Follow site safety procedures and maintain a high standard of housekeeping

Skills & Experience
Current
LF Forklift Licence
Proven experience operating forklifts in a busy industrial yard, warehouse or heavy equipment setting
Confident handling large, awkward or oversized freight
Experience loading and unloading trucks
Strong situational awareness and ability to safely operate around people, vehicles and heavy machinery
Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Driver's licence and reliable transport
Physically fit and safety-focused
Benefits
